If you had to decide between a better quality screen (117% SRGB+full Adobe color, higher refresh 144hz and better viewing angles with over 300nits vs 67% SRGB, 60hz and around 260nits + higher response time)
OR
more power (1660ti vs gtx 1060 6gb) what would you decide price being equal on both machines?

Depends, if you're looking to do mostly gaming and not a lot of photo editing/video editing then more power is recommended. If you're going to do mostly video/photo editing then go for the better display quality over performance (but make sure you have enough of both since you don't want to spend everything on a good display but have crappy graphics that can't take full advantage of it).
