Solved! Google account access

I have purchased a phone from a gentleman and he is not in town to meet with me to unlock the Google account that was set up in the phone previously. Is there any way that he can remove this phone from his Google account so I may access it with my own Google account to set up the phone?

You'll have to wait until the said gentleman can be contacted, only he can remove a device from his Google account, via the link on this page:

I repeat, only he can do that.
