Google maps quick question

When i type in starting location and then the destination and ask for directions while on wifi. Do the maps still give u the directions and the pointer of your location when u go offline?

I do not believe that it does. However, that is why you can cache your maps for offline use.

If you go offline you will probably still have the directions but not your current location.
