sounds like these individuals set out with a goal to search for these vulnerabilities. Wonder how much time was spent because unless they are teenagers, hopefully the pay out was worth the hours spent searching! Then again if they did their searching while at their full time job, then A++ and Bravo you three!

I know what that's like. My pet goldfish makes more in a week than I do in a month, and he never has to leave his bowl.

Man spam is bad, but get it right, a few hours is 175Hrs. Not a bad pay rate, but certainly not a 'few' hours.

Then again, a lots of bug is to be expected if the bandwith somewhat below standard too. A situation which tends to get any browser get lots of hiccups here and there.

This seems like a great way for Google to figure out the bugs and flaws in its Chrome platform. It's probably more effective to hold this contest and drive competitive spirit, rather than shifting the efforts of the company's own teams.
