Rockstar has announced a remastered trilogy of the original three Grand Theft Auto games. But after years of porting the first three games, 2008's GTA 4 has been snubbed once again.

It has been said by Rockstar on several occasions that GTA 4 and 5 exist in a separate universe from Gta 3, Vice City, and San Andreas.

So it makes sense why the focus is on the 3 aforementioned titles. I'm sure 4 will get a remaster treatment at some point down the road.

I'd hope so. The ps2 era GTA games trilogy is 3, Vice City and San Andreas so Rockstar could easily have the next big trilogy remaster be GTA 4, Lost and Gay Tony.
