You don't seem to realize that plants need CO2. In fact, where animals inhale O2 and exhale CO2, plants "inhale" CO2 and "exhale" O2. CO2 does not kill plants at all, only animals, and even then, it actually only kills animals in very high concentrations. A balance must be made for the best results for all life on Earth.

The only concentrations of CO2 that actually manage to kill are breathing in nearly pure CO2. This doesn't happen because of humans very often. In fact, I'm willing to bet that deaths caused by CO2 over-dosage are FAR more common through geologically active areas such as volcanoes and area around volcanoes than those caused by humans. Even then, humans hardly cause this often anyway.

We kill animals and plants through things such as oil and radiation spills, not through our CO2 production.

Green Peace is a bunch of morons. Last time I checked their ships were powered by fossil fuels. Im sure they drive around in polluting cars. Im sure their ships probably run over dolphins, sharks and other sea life.
Everything has a cost...even windfarms kill thousands of birds every year. Oil is needed to produce the plastic parts. Solar panels and storage batteries are composed of very toxic materials. Building them is toxic work and what do you do with them when they wear out? Theyre dangerous to the environment as well.
 
Greenpeace is neither "green" nor "peaceful". They are terrorists and would be labeled as such were it not for their bribery of politicians.

Whilst I don't mind you commenting on the merits of Eaurope vs the US ... I do mind you calling the US the "land of the religiously retarted".

To state that you would need to identify which land is the religiosly enlightened.

Furthermore we have just essentially used an oxymoron ... because in my mind religion has retarded the growth of science at every step of the way through human development, and there are so many great examples I'll just take that statement as a given.

So many great sceintific achievements and scientists were locked up, put to death and excommunicated along the way.

The US paid for about 5% of the cost of the LHC ... not bad considering 111 counties contributed.

The US has so many great scientific achievements I don't think I really need to post any examples.

Most of the particle accelerators in the past were US built and owned ... just like most of the supercomputers in the past.

... Even as an American taking offence to that, I can't honestly deny America's problems, especially related to religion, and that a lot of or all of the idiots here are probably American. However, Europe has it's problems and America has had it's achievements too. For example, what is the homeland of the man called the father of modern rocketry, Robert Goddard? That would be the USA. Of course, the USA ignored him up until the Germans utilized his concepts and we had to take German scientists to use his genius, but he still originated from America. Let's not forget the problems that every other country has had in the past jsut because the country that you want to mock has problems.

Let's look at Europe real quick. Of America and Europe. Which continent, America or Europe, played the biggest parts in the world wars? That would be Europe, also where the massacres of millions of Jews and many other peoples happened, just because they were different. What country, under what ruling government, was the catalyst for a huge amount of the technology that we have today? That would also be Nazi Germany, in Europe. It seems that everywhere on this planet, there are countries guilty of bad things and those who have done great things even while being guilty.

Facts seem to be on everyone's side in this argument.
