Gtx 960m ips screen vs 1050 TN screen

So I'm looking for a nice laptop for school work and some gaming on the go, I have heard that TN screens suck but I was wondering if it is worth it for a gtx 1050. Here are the laptops I am looking at:

If it was the "Ti" version of 1050,I would've recommended getting it over 960 but the difference between 960 and 1050 isn't huge,so I'd say go with the 960/IPS screen combo
