Half of All Active Phones are Broken (Study)

That's why I've bought Otterbox cases for all my devices at the same time or slightly before I got them. WHen I was working at a wireless ISP I dropped my phone about 40 feet onto the pavement, not a scratch and the phone wokred fine for another 2 years (new job, gave me a phone so my old cell was redundant).

On the other hand this report is kinda misleading... when I read "Half of All Active Phones are Broken" I was assuming broken = cracked/shattered screens and other major breakages. Scratches to the body mean absolutely nothing to performance, shattered screens however....

Most of them are high end phones, they keep using "strong durable" GLASS, glass breaks or cracks if you drop it from any height, it seems like a nice way to make ppl keep buying more phones after every incident.
