You obviously didn't understand the point.

I asked that because "Happy Holidays" is so non-specific, it is about as
bland and wimpy a greeting as one can possibly say. It has become more and
more popular as a result of this politically numb, non-specific,
afraid-to-offend trend, and that was simply my minor statement in response.

This was clearly lost on you.

Amazing. Someone who actually googles to find posts instead of just asking their
question on a newsgroup.

Should I also remove "Software Engineer" and Melbourne and Australia from my
sig? Someone searching for them would also see my post in the search results
simply because I have those words in my sig.
