Hard Drive or Processor

I have the choice between two laptops that are identical except one has a 258GB SSD & i7-5500u, the other has 1 TV HD & i7-6500u.

Which one would you choose?

Depend of how much storage space you need. if it way under 256GB, go with the one with SSD.

Yeah, it depends on how much storage you want. There is not much difference in performance between the two CPUs; the i7-6200u is marginally more powerful though.

I generally like to have high capacity, so I would buy laptop with the 1TB HDD, then later on I would replace the HDD with a 1TB SSD, buy an external case for the HDD and use it as an external drive.

TV HD... I thought you meant it comes with a HD TV tuner! 😀
