hard time making a choice

Hi folks,

I am going to buy a gaming laptop and so after doing some research i ended up on MSI GT80 Titan SLI 071 (2* 970m 6gb) with 4720HQ and 18.4 inch screen. Anyhow costed me 2650$. Poor battery though

then i came across with another laptop i.e MSI GT72 dominator Pro G with 5700HQ and single GTX980m (4gb) with 17.3 inch screen supported G-SYNC. Costing 2100$.. comparatively better battery and USB 3.1 as well

so im leaned towards GT72 pro G with bla bla features ... what are your suggestions ?

what can i think of is ... there should be no difference in performance between 4720hq and 5700hq but only latter can save a bit more power.
so in short quest becomes

is it worth G-SYNC (17.3" IPS Panel ) + single 980m + USB 3.1 over 970m SLI and 18.4" IPS panel ?
