Has a virus on my USB infected my PC?

I just put my USB in my PC and my antivirus popped up saying that multiple files were considered threats. Instead of letting the antivirus try and fix it I just ejected the USB. I am now worried that whatever was wrong with the files is on my pc so I'm running an antivirus check as I type this. Does anyone know whether anything could have infected my pc. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks. Would avast be able to pick up on the same stuff that malwarebytes could pick up on or should i run both? Also, should I be worried that one of the threats was described as 'back door' by the antivirus?

Run both Malwarebytes , WILL LOOK FOR SOME things an Antivirus won't.

Thanks, I ran a few scans with both and my pc isn't showing any odd behaviour so I'm going to cross my fingers and assume that everything is fine. Thanks for the help
