I have the 50V500 LCD and after you turn it off, the fan runs to cool it
down.
If I have a Power Failure, it won't get the chance to do that, so do you
think I should have a APC on it for Lighting protection and Fand cooling ?
This TV costs a lot and I'm home most of the time, (Disabled) so the
computer and TV are my world, this is the reason I ask.

It is the best insurance you can have to protect your investment.
I have all my gear connected to an APC. Go for it.
