Question HDMI ARC + Bluetooth query

I have a Sony Bravia TV which doesn't have Bluetooth.
I have a Samsung Soundbar connected via HDMI ARC.
I'm considering some sort of Bluetooth adapter – recommendations? – for the TV so that I can connect Bluetooth earphones to it.
Question. If I can do that successfully will I lose the soundbar audio or do the HDMI ARC and Bluetooth connections work as seperate audio 'channels'?

Unless the bluetooth adapter was specifically made to work with the TV or the soundbar it is not likely to work. Standard usb bluetooth dongles need drivers loaded for the hardware to work with them, which computers can do but TVs are not made for that.

Do a search for your TV model online and see if it has a bluetooth option you can add.

Another thing you can do is get a bluetooth adapter for the audio out port, say optical out to bluetooth. I have one, works pretty well, but there is a bit of a delay in the audio.
