Question hdmi cable problem

Hi. I have a blu-ray player and windows pc connected to my tv.
They are both connected to tv though hdmi cables.
Pc is HDMI-1
Player HDMI-2
I find if i switch from player to Pc, i lose the video signal for the pc. I have to restart the pc.

If you swap HDMI ports on the TV side, does the behavior change?
