Question HDMI disconnects every time i restart my laptop

Well for starters....

  1. What is the laptop (make/model, etc.).
  2. What are you connected to via HDMI?
  3. Is the other item (whatever it is) being powered off when the laptop is restarted as well?

More details are needed.
