Solved! HDMI Port on back of laptop

Hello, I have a HP Pavilion and it has two HDMI ports. One of them is covered with a metal cover. How do I remove this?

It is likely then that the other is there as a option and not a standard addition. That is the only reason it would inaccessible.

I am new at this, so hopefully you're seeing this.
So, does that mean there is no port, or will I need to put a port in?

It sounds like that laptop may have the 'option' to have a secondary port when purchased. Kind of like some have options for DVD drives and others just have a section where it 'could' be. I can't say if it will allow you to add another. It depends on other hardware. I suggest you contact the manufacturer and ask them if a secondary one is possible with the device as is, or if you would say need a different motherboard?
