Hdmi to rca Converter vídeo setting

Hi. I have an old tv with a Chromecast plugged into it through a hdmi to rca (the red white yellow) Converter. When I cast videos from my phone it looks great, but when watching some Netflix shows (specially family guy) the imagen looks too bright and it kinda flickers on the upper half.
Do you think there is a way I can fix this?
Also, is there any chance the magnet of the Chromecast affects some of the devices?

Doubt that there is any kind of magnet in the Chromecast.
Since it works well with your phone the problem may be with streaming only. Try it on another TV with an HDMI input so you can bypass the downconverter and eliminate that as the cause. Try it on another network in case the problem is in your network connection.
