Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Samsung un40es6100 to use with my PS3. However, I was wondering if I should return it and purchase a more up to date model. The reason is that with my current TV, the picture does not look too great and there are moments of lag when playing games.

If anyone has suggestions, I am all ears on this. Thank you very much!

No you just need to fiddle with the settings on your TV. There should be a game mode you can set and it reduces input lag. All new TVs with any kind of enhancing technology has a lag time when playing games. Another way to completely reduce input lag is to use a VGA connection.

use a 60hz tv instead. they work fine with the ps3. make sure it is also hdcp capable.

game mode doesnt always work.

stick with hdmi, i wouldnt use vga.
