I need a headset for my pc. I need it to be good quality that will last a while (Who would want any less?) I'll mainly be gaming on them, and I play games like CSGO, so I need to be able to hear which way people are coming from. I do tend to watch a lot of movies on my computer, so bass is also a bit of a factor. I do listen to music all the time too (If that matters) Price isn't much of an issue, but I don't want to pay $300+ for a headset, but I will choose quality over price. Can anyone give me a few options?

I purchased a Kingston HyperX Cloud II (in white and pink) for my son's girlfriend for Christmas. I was seriously impressed with how well they were made. They come with a USB sound card module, but they can be used as a regular audio headset too since the headphones plug into that module. She uses it to game as well as use it on her Android phone.

It also does a HRTF simulated 7.1 surround sound via the USB sound card if you are interested. However you mileage may very with this feature. If your ear shape / spacing doesn't fall in the "normal" range then the transfer functions may not work for you. I have pretty good luck getting directional cues from my headset (not Cloud II's).
