Headset Mic not working

I have a Plantronics 788. The audio works fine, but the microphone doesn't work.
What's wrong?

Could you provide more specifics? What were you doing when it stopped working? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? Have you restarted your computer? Just need a bit more detail.

Right click your volume on your taskbar and click recording devices. A window will pop up, look for your headphones and set them as default.

It's a new headset, fresh out of the box. It never worked to begin with. What drivers are there to reinstall/update? And yes, I've restarted the computer.
