Headset only works through one ear

I have tried more than one set, tried using the audio jack in the back of the case yet still nothing. Have also checked the equalisers, both on 50.

The only possible issue I can think of it being is the drivers, as this is a recently built computer.

it sounds like the onboard sound card on your mobo is not working. as this is microelectronics, i would suggest a new motherboard, or an external sound card.
