i have been using my sony laptop for about three years from now but befour a week there was a problem with me ,, when i type and then i press space those slashes(\\) apear and when i type the letter (p) it makes the\ tab task ,, its making me lose my mind anyone help me

I'm guessing you are not using a US keyboard. Are those keys close to each other? If yes, they could be sticking together due to something spilled on the keyboard. Also check the keyboard settings in control panel and make sure it's set to the correct language and laytout type.

i am using a us keyboard , and no those keys are not close to each other , never spilled anything on my laptop i did check my keyboard setting , they are set to united states (us) ,, this problem happened while i was sleeping my laptop was beside me and i guess i pressed something by mistake , it happened once before but i just can't remember how i solved it , if u can help please re-write thank u

Did you check the keyboard layout as well as language? QWERTY vs Drovark for example. Also make sure NumLock is off.
