So what i did was changin the maximum proccessor power in advanced ppwer options to 97%..and its no longer heating up the same....and the fan is no longer loud
But does this affect the performance?

At 97% of maximum you should hardly notice any drop in performance. You should really set the overall power setting to Balanced though, as it offers full performance when you need it, but saves power during periods of inactivity, so really it's the best of both worlds. Balanced is also the recommended setting.

Well in this HP theres an option wich is HP recommended.....wich i guess its the Balance option :p
And theres powernsave and High performance....
Anw im askin this cz i sed to play Sleeping Dogs smoothly...flaulessly....
But now its been a few days since i did that change ...and today its slower....
Is it because my HDD is 60% fragmented?
