So I'm in the need of a laptop and I do play games quite a bit, with so many options I'm getting a little overwhelmed and am thinking I might need so more knowledgeable help. I have some laptops in mind that I've found, but feel free to post any others.

Note: I will not go above $1100, so please refrain from posting anything above that, also, the laptops all have very similar specs as far as I can tell, I'll add some detail as to what I like better about them.

Stuff I'm thinking about:
-I really like the keyboard and the amount of ports it has, although I would prefer a 17 in screen.

-Heard a lot of good things about this one, some of the keys on the keyboard push me off a little by how small they are, but I think I can easily get past that. Also, hard drive only has 5400 rpm

-Most expensive of them all at the moment, it does have an IPS monitor though

-Probably the most gaming looking one, which kinda puts me off, although its a very minor issue.

Most laptops will not play many games well. Laptops were designed to be worked lightly, and gaming is anything but "lightly". As such, the heat from continuously playing a game will build up, and then the CPU and GPU will throttle down, and your already anemic performance will plunge.

Even most "Gaming Laptops" are not gaming laptops. Real gaming laptops will greatly exceed the $1100 limit you have placed on your purchase.

Instead, I would recommend building a desktop PC. They can handle the heat properly, and play the games you like, like they should be played. And you can build a nice one for less than a laptop.

I'm not looking for something to run stuff on ultra settings, I just need something that can have them run decently, I do have a desktop pc, but that thing is 5 hours away, and I have no where to put it where I live. So please could you stay to the topic.

Really? Because I believe the topic of this thread was helping me choose a laptop from one of the suggestions, or giving other laptops as suggestions as well, not doing it is whatever you tried to do, now if you could please leave, thank you.
