Hello all, First post woo!
Anyway I'm currently stuck between two laptops. And I currently have a 400$ Budget.
The first is an Acer AS5560G:

(I would be getting from CyberToys for 400$)
OR the Acer v3-551-8469:

Again, I have been saving up a laptop for a while and my budget is 400$ (I've gone without a computer for 5 months now and don't have a job.)
I'm a big nerd, but know almost nothing about specs.xD I know that a bigger GPU is better for gaming, and the 5560G has a 1gb GPU while the v3 has only 512MB. My intrests are gaming and editing, but nothing like CoD. More like WoW, Minecraft, and LoL. I use editing programs like After Effects, and Photoshop, but primarily game. I've been looking at these two laptops for a while, and can't decide which is better, Faster processor, or bigger GPU.

PS. Please don't tell me to build a comp or buy a desktop, I need a laptop because my family travels a lot and I need to be able to edit and such in cars, etc. Thanks for the help in advance!

Oh, And I know a lot of people have had problems with Acer. They aren't my favorite brand, I prefer Asus. But good Asus computers are 500$+ to decently run games, And my budget is literally 400,425$ at max, but if you could find a decent Asus for that, It would be amazing.

I would rather get the 2nd Acer laptop. Not only is it cheaper, but the CPU is Trinity instead of the older Llano generation which means the CPU is more powerful. It also helps that the clockspeed is higher too.

The Radeon HD 6470m is relatively weak. Much weaker than the integrated Radeon HD 7640g. The Radeon HD 6470m will dual graphics with the integrated Radeon HD 6520g, but since both are pretty weak I really doubt the combined performance will be much better than the Trinity's Radeon HD 7640g graphics core.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. The main thing was basically Do I want a 1gig GPU or do I want a 512mb with a faster processor. Do you think it would run games like Sanctum 2 on low settings, Maybe even WoW or LoL on low/med? Also, would Minecraft run on the v3 without lag on max settings? I'd be more then happy to turn them down, just wondering though because I plan on using mods while I play. The graphics on actual games don't bother me if they're on low/med , I just want to get an idea of what kind of games I can run on it.

You should be able to play Wow and LoL with a mix of low and medium settings; from what I understand, they are not graphically demanding games. Not sure about Sanctum 2 and MineCraft. However, I have read that MineCraft can lag on a high end PC which means it can be pretty CPU intensive.

For 1366x768 resolution 512MB of RAM for the graphics core is fine. You do not need 1GB until you get to 1920x1080 resolution.
