Hi! I'm a new member in this forum, this is my first thread.
Well let's get to the point. I have an Acer Aspire E5-521-84QR with Windows 8, and it just won't connect to my biggest tv on my house via HDMI, it connects to every other ones, but to my Sony Bravia TV. (The biggest) it just shows "No signal" when I connect it, and inmediatly when I connect my PS3 it detects it and shows it inmediatly. my laptop do connects to a smaller Sony TV, normally via HDMI, to an Element electronics too and to a little screen I have on my room, but that big TV just not 🙁.
*Note: My laptop seems to recognize the TV as it shows "SONY TV" in my AMD catalyst control center. and in my volume settings too.
I've read too many threads in here, I've tried just too many things that I'll list them:
-Turning both off and then turning both on so they recognize each other.
-Playing with the resolution settings
- YES! I ALREADY PRESSED WINDOWS + P !
- Trying with different HDMI cables, tried with 3 different and I asked my friend's MONSTER cable, and still wont.
-Updating my drivers.
-Updating Windows. (even those optional ones)
Hope you can help me. I'll be very grateful.
