Help I'm stuck in a boot loop. I have an acer aspire 5755g and don't know how to get to the recovery can anyone help please?

I'll suggest trying a reset here: 1) Unplug laptop from wall, 2) remove battery, 3) with no power to the laptop, press and hold the power button for ~30 seconds. Afterwards, reinstall battery, plug in and attempt to power it up.

Okay, how far into the loading process does the computer get before restart? Do you get past the Acer logo, does the logo even show? Do you get to any part of the windows loading screen?
