I'm trying to figure out how to get the sound from my new samsung led smart tv model #UN60J6200 to my pioneer receiver #VSX-4900S. Can you help me?

Hard to find much about that amp being so old, but doesn't look like it even has an optical input, in which case, you may not be able to hook it up. Most TV's don't have RCA outputs anymore, just either HDMI-ARC, or Tosklink/SPDIF optical. If you can find a good pic of the back of the stereo, can take a look or an online manual, but I don't see a lot of options.

You need one of these
http/www.parts-express.com/parts-express-dac-digital-to-analog-converter-(51-compatible)--180-999
and cables to connect and convert the optical audio out of the TV to an analog RCA input on the receiver.
Check the TV manual on how to use the optical output.
