Solved! Help I've got a virus

I have a virus on my computer, pop up with a number something like 0800 022..64. How can I get rid of it? I've got windows 10.

I have McAfee Security Scan plus, if that's an antivirus program.

Sort of mate sorry for late reply I'm currently at work. Now just before we get going I am no internet security advisor. However I was in the same boat as you last year on my old system and this worked for me.

Head to Malwarebytes - https/www.malwarebytes.com/v2/ & download the free trial version. Run the scan and if you do indeed have a virus it will flag I assure you. Afterwards report back and tell me what we're dealing with.

Thank you very much for your help, I hope it will work. I'm not able to tell you very soon if it worked, because I'm going on vacation within just a few hours. I just hope the virus doesn't destroy my computer meanwhile.
