Help me choose a laptop!

Which is better? The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 ($829.99) or the Dell XPS 15 ($999)?

I plan to use this laptop for browsing, YouTube/some Netflix, and maybe like 1-2 light games.
I don’t need something super fancy- all that matters to me is long battery life and a long (consistent) laptop performance life.

1. I know the Inspiron has SSD and HDD whereas the XPS has a SSHD drive- which is better?
2. Which has better battery life considering the specs+use?
3. Which would you recommend overall?

I would probably go with the Inspiron. Mainly cause it is cheaper. The Inspiron's CPU is not as good as the XPS because it is a low powered CPU, but it should have better battery life. For your workload, you dont need a massive CPU.

The Inspiron does have a better GPU with the mx150 vs the intel integrated graphics. The Inspiron also has a nice NVMe SSD for fast boots and loads.

Neither one will be great gamers, but they can handle some low taxing games.
