Help me find a laptop for a birthday gift?

I'm looking to buy a laptop as a birthday gift.
Budget is 500$. The laptop must be running Windows 10. Must also have a backlit keyboard.
Battery life isn't very important. The laptop will mostly be used to run games like the Sims 4, nothing too intense.

I don't know a whole lot about laptops, any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance
