Help!My pc cant detect my speakers or headset.

I turned on my pc today and for some reason there was no sound.I checked the cables and everything seems to be okay.I also restarted the computer but that didnt help.Im guessing its because of the gpu?`Yesterday everything was ok but today i installed a new gpu.The weird part is that my pc cant detect that either.If it helps these are my specs:
Intel core 2 duo 2,4 ghz
R7 250 1g edition
Ddr2 ram 4 gb
Headset:Razer kraken neon
Speakers:samsung home theatre(dont know the name)
Any help would be useful.

Did you install the software? was there another gpu installed before or did you use onboard graphics? Did you go into the control panel and click on sound icon and adjust which device to use for output?

K.I installed the drivers and the gpu is working.But still no sound.In the control panel it only says not plugged in.

Except I did not install a new gpu, I updated the drivers and then the sound did not work anymore

I just had 2 change some settings in the bios.Fixed it a while ago.

Got a new sound card it works great now
