Help picking a laptop for gaming.

I am planing on buying a laptop and I have two options:
the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 from Costco or the MSI GT72 Dominator G-1227 from newegg.

Dell
MSI

The dell has a slightly worse graphics card (Nvidia gtx 960m 4gb vs gtx 970m4gb) and processor (i7-6700HQ vs 17-6820HK)
Is the MSI worth the extra $100?

First off, the MSI is sold out, so you are a bit too late. Also, if portable is not that important to you, you can take that $800-900 and build yourself a computer that can handle anything today.

You can get the Dell Inspiron 15 7559 slightly cheaper at Amazon for $750.
