Help using IE to stream wireless to another TV

I am using mostly good sites, but some games I watch, like football/movies(may or may not be legit). I need to know how to wirelessly transmit to the 55" TV instead of my 24" monitor so others can watch. Any clues on what I need?

A wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver would allow you to use the TV as an extended desktop or 2nd display without cables. You would have to change the audio device so that sound would come out of the TV.
A Chromecast stick might also work but I don't know if you can use IE instead of Chrome as the browser.
