Solved! Why will Netflix not stream on one tv out of two?

I have had Netflix streaming just fine on two tv's and on my desktop. Within the last week or so, it stopped working on one tv (the one I watch frequently). It still streams just fine on the other tv, and on my desktop. I spent quite a long time on the phone today with a Netflix rep, trying canceling, re-installing and so on, to no avail. When I click on the Netflix icon on my Roku home screen on this tv, the orange letters come up briefly on a dark screen, then it jumps right back to the Netflix icon.
Other icons I have with movies (Curiosity Stream, Kanopy, etc.) will stream movies just fine.
The rep has sent this problem off to the specialists, and "someone will get back to me soon." No case number for me, just trust in Netflix, I suppose.
Any ideas of what I can try? I don't want to unplug the tv, as I have Direct TV and it would surely mess something up.

Solution
It's a TCL Roku (smart) TV. I believe it's about 4 years old. The thought of purchasing another tv is rather alarming, especially if I do it just so Netflix streaming will work! It's frustrating that other streaming services I have are streaming just fine on this tv, just not Netflix.

You may be able to update the Netflix app on the TV from the options on it. My smart TV gets updates every so often for programs, I get a prompt for it though when starting the program.
I would check with TCL support not Netflix.

I will do that! Thanks for the idea.
I found my owner's manual & receipt for my TCL tv (only 2 years old) and phoned the customer service number. The woman who helped me was so helpful! After trying many ideas, canceling and re-installing Netflix, re-booting the tv, it now works!! Great idea, hang-the-9!! Thanks so much.
