Help with an SSD for MSI GT70

Sorry if this is in the wrong place; I'm new to these forums. I am waiting on my GT70 Dominator-2293 to be delivered and I'm trying to find an SSD for it. The only problem is I'm not sure what kind of SSD to get. From my research on the laptop, it seems that it doesn't have any mSATA drives, only two 2.5" drives. I'm assuming one of those will hold the HDD, and the other will be empty. I've only ever installed SSD's into my desktops (I'm very new to laptops) so any advice you could give me would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

P.S. I'm not going to be able to get the SSD at the same time I'll be getting the laptop, so if someone could recommend a good migrating software that would be greatly appreciated. The only things I'll really install when I get the laptop will be the drivers and then some Steam games, so I'm really not sure if I would be better off just wiping the drive when I get the SSD and do a fresh install. Sorry for the mountain of words, I'm just typing what I'm thinking!

Not all of them. I chose to buy one without the SSD because there was a VERY good deal on it (1200 USD) and I decided I could add an SSD myself and save 300 dollars.

Just buy a Samsung 840/850 EVO. Not only are they great drives they come with Samsung's migration software. Win-win.

Sorry I'm just now getting back to you, I appreciate your answer! Do you happen to know if I'll need a separate sata 3 cable? Or will I just be able to plug it in the slot available and go from there?

No cables needed, there will be a drive bay for the ssd to plug in
