Help with booting up laptop

I have a nv55 gateway laptop that won’t boot up it jus gives me a f2 prop and then goes to a black screen it does say going to factory repair after a few minutes then back to black screen and nothing. Can someone help?

With that age system, I'd replace the hard drive and do a clean Windows setup on that. Putting in an SSD will make the system run pretty well even considering the age.
