So I'm currently looking at gaming laptops in the $1000 range, and I've finalized my options to the two below:
Gigabyte P55Gv5-NE1: http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834233156
Acer Aspire V Nitro VN7-592G-77LB: http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315130
So far the only major differences I see are that the Gigabyte has an optical drive, a faster HDD, and a lower price, however the Acer has 4gb of VRam, while the Gigabyte only has 2. How important would the 2 gigs of VRam be if I'm using this laptop in college (engineering)? Is it worth the extra $100? Thanks!
