Help with new TV (anything is very much appreciated thank you)

Hey guys or gals, i would love some help with a TV purchase. With the upcoming Xbox One i am definitely wanting to upgrade from my 26 inch LCD that i have, yes its old lol. I am looking at this tv for the specs and what it is offering for the price does not look like it can be beat this is the TV.. http/store.vizio.com/m501da2r.html... Can i get some opinions would this tv do well for every day use it will be on alot of the day since it is going to be my main gaming TV, as well as my TV for cable etc. The specs seem very good but i just dont know about the brand i have never bought a Vizio so im not sure how well they do in the TV department reliability, hardware they use etc.. I dont know to much about TV's but i do want a LED with the a good refresh rate, the smart tv is eh, the 3D is cool but its not a deal breaker if i find something without it. If anyone can point me in the right direction for a good TV around that price range i can maybe go a bit higher BUT i do atleast want 50 inches.

This is the TV again that i am looking at any help is very much appreciated. I could buy it from Bestbuy for 799.00 since one around where i live has a couple in stock.

That's a really great deal on that tv. I just bought an LG last March and it is only a 47", with fewer options, and cost $80 more than that one. As far as the brand goes, my cousin bought a Vizio about 3 years ago, and his still works & looks as good as the day he bought it. I think that with an extended warranty from the retailer you really cant go wrong with that one.

Great thanks alot Cewhidx i really appreciate the response. I always refuse to get warranties just because i honestly have never had a good experience when buying warranty. I am thinking i am going to go with this TV i just was unsure about Vizio. I am reading so far on reviews and people seem to really enjoy the TV. Thanks again it is much appreciated.
