There's the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-53VG with an i5-6200u, 940mx, 1080p screen, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD for $500. Definitely not as powerful as the Dell but still more than capable of running Minecraft and is $200 cheaper.

If you only want to play Minecraft and maybe some other simple games like CSGO or TF2 and you want to spend even less than $500, then the following HP 15-ay013nr laptop for $430 will be fine with an i5-6200u and Intel HD 520 integrated graphics. You give up a lot of graphics performance from the $500 Acer laptop with the 940mx.
if you like star wars too! then this is the laptop for you!
I have this exact same laptop and I got it for $740 on sale so yes it is $800 but it comes with a backlit keyboard. star wars themed decals and a dual core i5 6200u. I can play Minecraft at max settings with my chunks at 7 or 8 without Opti fine and get around 40 frames with everything maxed out. switch to Opti fine though. I can get up to 10 chunks with the same framerate!
