Check the hardware and software specifications for Sims 4.

Likely to be three categories: Minimum, Recommended, and Best.

Your laptop will need to meet at least Recommended for successful game play.

However, there are no guarantees as any one factor/component may bottleneck performance.

You're above the minimum required specs but below recommended. It should work but you might have to lower settings. You could try the free trial version to get an idea before buying it.

You should be able to run it between low and medium settings.

It will work with the a6, thats what i meant by the low to medium settings, it'll run at those settings on the A6. That said, getting a straight up dual core in 2018 is a bad idea, especially with that 500gb hard drive instead of an ssd. Where are you buying these laptops?

It's just a gadget store in a mall. Would it be better to get an i3 or i5 rather than AMD? Is a 2 gb graphics enough? I've already checked the requirements before, just wanna make sure it would run on the one I'll be buying.

The AMD or Intel part is not important. The CPU model is. Example: AMD A6-9225 or Intel i3-560. Also, the i5 is very good. As for GPU, 4GB is better but 2GB is enough.

If you have several laptops you can choose, post their specs like this:
CPU: AMD A6-9225
GPU: RADEON 530 2GB
RAM: 4GB 2400MHz DDR4
