If your email was deleted from your email account, you have to contact whatever company you have the email through (google, yahoo, etc.) and see if it is recoverable. That would not be on the phone itself. Now if you had saved the mail as actual files on your device that is a different story. However, just opening the mail and viewing it through an app on the phone would not mean the mails were on the phone itself, but on the company's server, so again you would have to contact them about it.
