Amazes me that people post this kinda stuff and actually expect help. If you arent gonna take the time to put info into a post as to what is happening, dont expect people to do the work for you and list every possible problem it could be. You can get a DVD burner for $10. Buy one and replace it.

Well if your having problems with your DVDROM, you should really take some time from your busy life and have a good chat with it. Maybe your DVDROM is having life issues and just needs some company/ a good listening ear.

Maybe it just needs a soft touch, and a whisper to get the problems behind it, and move on in life. You know when you talk about your problems, things will seem much better afterwards with things out in the open.

Funny, I see them often. So yes you can buy a laptop DVD drive for $10. I get laptop BluRay drives for $30.

I own a lappy repair company and computer shops in the UK...

Please show me a link to a lappy blueray drive for $30 or a DVD drive for a lappy at $10 ...NEW...

For that price I would import them in bulk....
