How to connect lg 42ln5420 led with my sony hbd-dz350 home theatre?

Did not see mention of HDMI ARC (audio return channel) in the specs of your equipment so
Connect the HTS to the TV with HDMI. (For disc playback)
Connect the TV optical audio out to the HTS with a toslink audio cable (for audio with other sources connected to the TV.
Set the TV audio out to 5.1 surround output (might not be clear which setting is which).
