hooking up sound bar.

Have new Samsung 60 inch it has no audio out. How can I hook up a sound bar to it? Do I need to go through a receiver first, and run the sound bar off of it. Didnot realize the problem with the tv until, after I bought it.

Depending on how many sources you have feeding the TV you might have to go through a receiver first. If you only have one HDMI input, you might be able to go through an HDMI pass through which will strip the audio to an optical or analog signal.
