Toshiba Battery is dead. When the power button is pushed the light stays on for 3 seconds and then the light goes out.dies, does not boot. l. Took the battery out and it still won't boot.

might be the charger then.if you have access to a multimeter you can check the output of your charger.should match the output specs listed on the charger.

Some laptops won't boot without a battery.

But 'fess up, what REALLY happened to it?
