I bought an universal adapter for my hp laptop. Now while I charge it, once I start using the laptop, it will stop charging. How do I use it & charge as t same time?

Make sure the plug is all the way in and that the power connector is not damaged on the laptop.
It might be that the universal adapter can not provide enough power for your laptop.
You need to get a better adapter for your laptop.
