The new modern tv box receives the tv signal from a modem/wifi.
The output to tv on the box is via hdmi or USB.
The tv is old, it now receives tv signal from a coaxial cable.
Is a converter from HDMI to coaxial cable exists?

Solution
If the tv is old then there very well may not be another input method and likely the tv is limited to 640x480 resolution.
But sadly, a new tv would be much cheaper then an hdmi to analog coax converter box (about 400 bucks) for an all-in-one solution or spend about $70 bucks for a two piece solution ('HDMI to Composite' and then 'Composite to RF')

With dropping to 640x480 resolution, IMO, $70 is better invested in a new tv; one with HDMI inputs.

Look for other inputs on your TV. Coaxial is not used for this. Most likely there will be SCART input, and i think its best to ask your provider for a box that has a scart output.
