How can i fix my acer laptop

Hello,
I need help with my Acer laptop, when i turn it on the blue screen comes up how can sort it out with out restoring the laptop, cos i have some work on it.

try pressing f8 as its booting up

then select last known good configuration

if that doesnt work

try pressing f8 as its booting up

and select safe mode

if those dont work connect it to another pc as a second drive and save your work

or run a linux live cd like ubuntu and save your work

always save anything important to external media before your pc goes wrong
